Introduction

Hello, my name is Jack Wistrom, and I spend most of my time playing golf, exercising, and spending time with loved ones. I am a student at Oregon State University majoring in Business Administration. My hometown is Seattle, WA which makes me a die hard Mariners, Seahawks, and soon to be Supersonics fan! Something that prompted me to Principles of Marketing is that Marketing is the most interesting business growth/scaling strategy of mine. I find it complex yet fun to do which gravitates me toward marketing. The thing I am most looking forward to learning about in this class is how to fix or recover a bankrupt, corrupt, or weak company using marketing. Something I am passionate about is golf. Playing golf is my retreat from reality where I can hone in on my game and focus on simple things. My favorite thing about playing golf is that you're always surrounded by nature when you play.
